And they ask you about the spirit. Say (O Muhammad PBUH.), "The spirit is included in the affairs of My Lord, and you are not given knowledge but a little". (Surah al-Isra '[17]: 85)
Asbabun nuzul verse above occurred when a group of Jews asked about the spirit as if testing the Prophet Muhammad. Then the verse came down. The spirit is God's business, and humans know very little. Tends to be secret, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist at all. This book in your hand is one of them.
